What to Expect During a Reiki Session

Preparation

  1. Clients begin by lying on a massage table, fully clothed.
  2. The environment is set to promote relaxation with soft music and dim lighting.

The Session

  1. As a Reiki practitioner, I will place my hands lightly on or just above your body, using a series of hand positions.
  2. Each position is held for several minutes, depending on how much Reiki you need at each corresponding area.

The Experience

  1.  Warming sensation or a tingling in the body, experiencing profound relaxation.
  2.  Experience emotional release or insights.

Post-Session

  1. After a session, most clients feel calm and refreshed, with a sense of mental clarity and physical well-being.
  2. I provide a brief period for you to acclimate back to your surroundings and discuss any experiences or insights from the session.
